Horsey ("Horsey", "we", "us") operates the Scoring, Marketplace and Streaming products and the websites that link to them. This policy applies to any personal data we process when you visit our sites, create an account, or use our products.

We collect information in three ways:

• You give it to us — account details (name, mobile number, email), horse and rider records you create, payment details processed by our billing provider, and anything you send us via a form or email.
• We collect it automatically — device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and approximate location, gathered through cookies and similar technologies described in our Cookie Policy.
• We receive it from others — verified results submitted by judges or show officials, and profile details if you sign in with a third-party provider such as Google.

• To provide, maintain and secure the products you use.
• To verify and publish performance records you or officials submit.
• To process payments and send billing communications.
• To respond to support requests, demo bookings and other messages you send us.
• To improve our products and understand how they are used.
• To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with: service providers who process it on our behalf (hosting, payments, email delivery), show organisers and federations where required for a verified record to be valid, and authorities where disclosure is required by law. Any horse record you choose to make public — such as a Marketplace listing or a public results page — is visible to anyone who views that page.

We keep account data for as long as your account is active. Verified performance records are retained indefinitely once published, because the record belongs to the horse rather than to an account — this is core to how Scoring works. You can request deletion of personal data that isn't part of a published verified record at any time.

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit, access controls and regular review — to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Horsey operates internationally. Your data may be processed in a country other than the one you live in. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for these transfers.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Horsey after a change means you accept the revised policy.
